Galata Chemicals to increase soybean oil platicizers

Continued soybean oil cost inflation, coupled with escalating non-soy expenses, has made it necessary for Galata Chemicals to announce a price increase for the company’s full range of DRAPEX® Epoxidized Soybean Oil products sold in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. These increases will be effective March 1st 2012, or as contracts allow.

•These increases represent €0.07 / kg above the price levels effective during February 2012.

This increase is essential to sustain Galata Chemicals as a viable supplier into this industry.
