LANXESS has increased globally prices by 5 percent for the product group sulfur chlorides and with immediate effect. The products thionyl chloride, sulfur chloride and sulfuryl chloride are affected. Ongoing high raw material costs as well as additional cost increases for energy and logistics are the reasons behind the price increase.
LANXESS is the leading company for the manufacturing and global marketing of sulphur chlorides and is covering a broad range of applications. Sulfur chlorides are applied for the chemical synthesis of active ingredients in the agrochemical and pharmaceutical industry as well as for intermediates in the vulcanization and dyestuff industries.
