Reichhold announces that it has been forced to increase prices due to “the drastic upward trend of the prices of key raw materials. Overall market conditions remain volatile with tight availability, but we have chosen to continue our focus to the market and to secure supply to our customers.“
In light of this situation, Reichold announces a 200 EUR/MT price increase on all White Gelcoat Resins, a 100 EUR/MT price increase on all Pastel coloured Gelcoat Resins and a 50 EUR/MT price increase on all Dark coloured Gelcoat Resins. This applies to all Gelcoat Resins shipped on or after October 1, 2011.
While these volatile raw material market conditions continue, Reichhold will revise its specific product prices with individual customers on a monthly basis.
“We count on our customers’ understanding of these difficult market conditions as we work to minimize the effect of rising material costs upon our product pricing.” stated the company.
“Since these market conditions are not expected to change in the near future, these price increases are necessary to enable us to continue to make the investments required to supply high quality, innovative products to support our customers efforts to develop and improve their products and create added value.”
