Celanese to increase acrylic-based emulsion prices

Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE), a global technology and specialty materials company and a global leader in emulsion polymers, announced today it will raise the price of all Acrylic based emulsions (full acrylic and styrene acrylic emulsions) sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa by € 80/MT.

This price increase will be effective April 1, 2012, or as contracts allow and affects applications including, but not limited to, adhesives, paint and coatings, building and construction, nonwovens, glass fiber, carpet, paper and textiles.
